Published in Zurich from 1917 to 1919, the Dada journal, with an international perspective, was opposed to the war, and links have existed between the group of R. Rolland and the members of Dada (without mutual influence). Dada has however adopted a radical original turn. Experimentation in this journal has played a central role, leading to a transmedial aesthetic which announced the future artist books.

Publiée à Zurich de 1917 à 1919, la revue Dada, dans une optique internationale, était opposée à la guerre, et des liens ont existé entre le groupe de R. Rolland et les dadas (sans influence réciproque). Dada a cependant adopté une tournure radicale qui lui était propre. L’expérimentation a joué dans cette revue un rôle central, entraînant une esthétique transmédiale qui a préludé aux futurs livres d’artistes
