Marguerite, the character of Goethe or his rewritings, undergoes significant changes during the works, and these find a favorite space to take place: her bedroom. It is this place, in the home, which allows Marguerite herself to invest in and inhabit literature, in works which leave it a growing place over the course of the rewritings.

Marguerite, celle de Goethe ou de ses réécritures, subit des changements importants au cours des oeuvres, et ceux-ci trouvent un lieu de prédilection pour se réaliser : sa chambre. Elle est ce lieu, dans l'habitation, qui permet à Marguerite elle-même d'investir et d'habiter la littérature, dans des oeuvres qui lui laissent une place grandissante au fil des réécritures.
