This text, for pedagogical use, aims to simply redefine what group psychoanalytical-inspired music therapy can represent and its interest in patients or participating members. It begins with a reminder of some elements of description of a model of music therapy practice and exposes some theoretical principles. It then indicates how, from the author's point of view, the music therapist plans to favor the operation of symbolization carried out during the session when he proposes to a group of participants to express themselves by means of sounds in a space and a organized device. It presents some candidate patients for such a group and gives an example of a process by which group members can progressively enroll. Finally, it describes the possible functions of belonging to a music therapy group for the participants who constitute it.

Ce texte, à usage pédagogique, se veut pour mission de redéfinir simplement ce que peut représenter la musicothérapie d'inspiration psychanalytique de groupe et son intérêt pour les patients ou membres participants. Il commence par un rappel de quelques éléments de description d'un modèle de pratique musicothérapique et expose quelques principes théoriques. Il indique ensuite comment, du point de vue de l'auteur, le musicothérapeute envisage de favoriser l'opération de symbolisation effectuée en séance lorsqu'il propose à un groupe de participants de s'exprimer par le moyen de sons dans un espace et un dispositif organisés. Il présente quelques patients candidats à un tel groupe et donne un exemple de processus par lequel les membres du groupe peuvent s'y inscrire progressivement. Il décrit enfin les fonctions possibles de l'appartenance à un groupe de musicothérapie pour les participants qui le constituent.
